In this 4wk course you will be introduced to printing techniques that will inspire your creativity with Ink & Paint
STARTING SATURDAY MARCH 7th 2-4pm
Week 1 : Mono Printing ( Tracing and drawings to ink to create one off piece of artwork)
Week 2: Lino Block Printing ( Carving into a block to print your own cards and gift wrap)
Week 3: Reduction Lino Block Printing ( Introducing colour into a block print to create unique artwork)
Week 4: Gelli Block Printing ( Creating layers with paint to Print unique artwork with a Gelli Block)

STARTING SATURDAYS 14th MARCH 11-12.30
In this 6 wk course you will learn all the techniques to make and create in Clay. Suitable for beginners and those who have experience with clay as there is a different project each week focusing on the individual's creativity
Week 1 : Pinch Pots ( learn what you can make with these small pots)
Week 2: Coiling ( learn how to create shape and form within a pot)
Week 3 : Slab building ( learn how to roll clay to make a structured piece)
Week 4: Sculpture ( Create a unique piece of artwork with a sculptural technique)
Week 5 : Your work will have its first firing and we will decorate and glaze
Week 6 : Your work is returned to you after its final firing and you will receive a bonus workshop in decorating a tile ( not fired)

PRIVATE POTTERY WHEEL 6wk course
ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

In this 6 wk course you will learn the techniques to make functional tableware on the pottery wheel .
Week 1 : Mugs ( learn how to make a cylindrical shape that can be transformed into a mug jug or vase)
Week 2: Bowls ( learn how to shape and form a bowl shape large or small)
Week 3: Plates ( you will make four plates the same size)
Week 4: You will learn the "Turning" technique ( cleaning up your pots , making a step and adding handles
Week 5: Your work is returned from its first firing to decorate to your liking and glazed
Week 6: Your work is returned after its final firing and we return to the wheel for a final workshop in bellying and collaring a pot
